In my drunken stupor I didn’t get any photos of the crowd that showed up! Thank you to all who came thru and to those who participated! I’d love to see if we could do this is an actual fashion show… none of my pieces sold so I have clothes for it :”)

“Vision 20/20” 19th of this month we are currently in of yes, this same year
at the burien community center, right next to a lovely little green space that includes a valley, a playground and gorgeous cedar trees on saturday evening i and many other artists will have art on display and for sale. half the proceeds go to us and the other half to the burien arts league or something like that. here are what i did for this years show… i was half into it and half ready to give in. i thought it would be so easy to get 10 panels that measure 8″x8″ and do whatever i want. i struggled with the idea of only getting $20 per piece, so i feel like i held back. in the end though i figure they are sketches for future pieces. come thru if you can and see all the work… should be interesting :”)
My upholsterings
Here are a few things I’ve fabricated via a selection of designers in the city of Seattle since I moved here 10 years ago. I have up till recently worked for a nice company who moved into a factory setting and I was doomed as I could not hide the fact that I now hated being a factory worker surrounded by dust and noise and smells of chemicals…
But I continue to love the craft! Originally posted in 2014 but I continue to add to this post to serve as a visual portfolio.

Just a bit more
Work is going well. The fabric store has given me some great connections and has become quite the conduit for freelance work. From couch cushions, to slipcovers, clothing, costumes, drapes, pillows, car roof liners, vinyl bar stools and more…
I’m glad I invested in an industrial machine! Here’s to more and more work! Also, wish me luck everyone… I just went in for a casual interview with a vintage interiors place! Could be something real special if it works out!
